We will begin with a discussion about how you are feeling and invite you to share any specific needs you have. We are looking to identify general muscle groups and regions of the body that you experience as feeling tight, overworked or just in need of some attention. This allows us to ensure we are co-creating a bespoke session just for you.
Once we have a great session plan that you are happy with, you’ll be given sometime in the room by yourself to (get dressed down to your underwear (usually) and covered under the towel) lie down on the massage table, take a few breaths and begin getting ready for the blissful session ahead. After a few moments we’ll knock on the door (come in) and assist you with any final settling that's needed (sometimes a little bolster can make a huge difference!).
When comfortable we will begin systematically applying pressure in a rythmatical, long and fluid way working from light to a satisfying depth for you. It’s important in the beginning to work together in establishing YOUR comfort & pressure levels. Once we've found what's 'just right' for you, you're welcome to drift away, zone out, switch off, snore or even chat away! Whatever helps you feel relaxed.

If this is your first massage session please book the INITIAL appointment on the booking page. A client information sheet will be sent with the booking confirmation email. Please fill this out online and submit it before your appointment. If you are unable to do this online there are paper copies of the client information sheet available at reception for you to fill in on arrival for your appointment.
